In May of 2024, Charlotte became the 6th city nationwide to open a BuildStrong Academy powered by the Home Builders Institute (HBI).  BuildStrong Charlotte seeks to develop new talent for the trades and offers a FREE 9-week curriculum in carpentry and electrical skills.
