Operation Tiny Home
The HBAGC, in partnership with Kelly McArdle Construction, Lowe's Home Improvement, NASCAR and Habitat for Humanity Charlotte Region, constructed 17 tiny homes for WNC families impacted by Hurricane Helene. The build spanned seven days in December of 2024 and over 500 volunteers from across the Charlotte region devoted their time and construction skills to make sure families in need had a warm home for the holidays.

PWB Girls Construction Camp
"The Professional Women in Building (PWB) Girls Summer Construction Camp is a transformative initiative designed to inspire and empower young women to explore careers in the construction industry. Organized by the Home Builders Association of the Greater Charlotte Professional Women in Building Council, this camp aims to address the gender gap in construction-related professions by providing hands-on experiences, mentorship, and exposure to various roles in the field. The program seeks to instill confidence, teach valuable skills, and ignite a passion for the built environment among its participants."

Professional Women in Building is gearing up for the fourth annual Girls Construction Camp this July 22 - 24, 2025. We have added an extra day of camp this year! To sign up your middle to high school aged girl to attend, please email jean@hbacharlotte.com. Camp is free to attend and limited to the first 25 registered attendees.
We invite you to attend our PWB Top Golf Event on Thursday, March 20th as a portion of the proceeds will go to funding this year's camp.

Cabarrus County Chapter Low Country Boil
Each year, the Cabarrus County Chapter of the HBAGC hosts a Low Country Boil to benefit Cabarrus County CTE Program. In 2024, a portion of the event proceeds totaling $3,000 went directly towards career and technical programs within the county! We look forward to this annual fundraiser again in 2025. Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 18, 2025.
